Canal Walk will travel to Liberty Science Center to view the permanent model train exhibit donated by a family in Metuchen. 

Fee includes general admission to center and a “heavy” Italian Buffet lunch, tips for meal & tax, parking fees and driver tip for 1 jitney!!!

Cost: $48 per person – no extra cost

                  9:00 - Jitney departs C.W. - Seats based on time stamp paid

                  10:00 - Arrive at Liberty State Science Center 

                  12:00 - Leave Liberty State Science Center (2 Hours to explore)

                  12:30 - Arrive at Brightside Tavern (Jersey City)

All baked goods will be made with Passover ingredients.

Featuring a private tour of The Sassoons Exhibit

A collection of paintings, illuminated manuscripts, and Judaica from The Sassoons, a remarkable Jewish family.

The trip to NYC includes: jitney transportation, museum admission, a private docent-led tour of the exhibit, and time to explore the other galleries and gift shop.

Based on The Once and Future King by T.H. White, Camelot, Lerner and Loewe’s 1960 follow up to My Fair Lady, is a story about the quest for democracy, striving for justice, and the tragic struggle between passion and aspiration, between lovers and kingdoms. This epic and timely tale features the iconic characters King Arthur, Queen Guenevere, and Sir Lancelot as well as the beloved original score with lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe which includes “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “What Do the Simple Folk Do?” and the title song “Camelot.”

FREE !  CLASSES ARE ONGOING

Tap dancing classes for men and women taught by CW Residents with many years
of tap experience and lots of patience.  It's time to give it a try; it's fun and we get
exercise too.

Held in the CW Clubhouse Arts & Crafts Room
Beginner Class - Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:30 pm - (No experience necessary)
Intermediate Classes - Wednesdays 3:30 - 4:30 pm; Fridays 9:00 - 10:00 am (Some experience required)
Wear comfortable workout clothes and hard soled shoes or tap shoes.  No sneakers or rubber soled shoes.
Purchasing tap shoes is not required to start.
