NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING AND BOARD MEETING SCHEDULED ON OCTOBER 28, 2021

Board Election

Please remember to vote. Your ballot must be received at the Clubhouse no later than 4:00 PM on October 28, 2021.

Upcoming Meetings

As we have done in the past, there will be two meetings on October 28, 2021. The first will be the Annual Meeting where the results of the first round of balloting for the Board election will be announced. The second will be an Open Board Meeting for the Board to conduct routine business, such as voting on resolutions. Both meetings will be conducted via Zoom. The zoom meeting access information is shown below.

The Canal Wallk Irish American Club's event is For Paid Up Members ONLY

Enjoy lunch in "The Cottage" at Thatcher McGhee's Pub in Denville, NJ.  Lunch will be

"Lecture-in-Song - The Other Jewish Songwriters"

Pianist/Singer/Narrator Fred Miller presents his musical & anecodotal overview of 4 distinguished
Jewish personalities in American Popular Music.  You may not be familiar with the artists but
when you hear their songs sung, you will sing along.  Fred also provides biographical and
historical insight into the life and times of these musical titans.

Presented by Young at Heart - Wednesday Nov 10 following the 11:00 AM meeting
in the Ballroom.  Open to ALL residents.

Irena Gut: Only a Girl - presented and performed by Janet Rodgers
Hear the inspiring true story of a young Catholic Polish girl who saved the lives of
12 young Jewish professionals during WWII.  The 50 minute solo performance
tells the true story of Irena Gut Opdyke based on her autobiography, In My Hands.
It is a story of love, compassion, courage and human respect.

Cost: $80 for 5 classes

Dr. Gang Huang, the founder of "Seeking Tai Chi", will be leading a beginner level Tai Chi Class series for those who have little or no Tai Chi experience. You will learn some valuable techniques and practices that can improve strength, balance, coordination, and inner peace. We will be focusing on the stance, postures, footwork, coordination, and several classical Tai Chi forms and movements! Whenever possible, the class will be tailored to address individual needs to really make a difference for your everyday life!
Dr. Gang Huang is one of the formal Disciples of Master Yang Jun and an authorized instructor of Yang Family Tai Chi Association. He has learned Tai Chi from famous Masters like Yang Jun, Wang Hanrong, Chen Bing, Chen Zhenglei, and Cheng Yu. He has taught Tai Chi in central NJ over the past 6 years and taught over a thousand students. You can learn more about him at
